The road to launch: how Brisvia got here

Brisvia was born with a simple idea: bring mining back into people's hands. A cryptocurrency you can mine with the processor of an ordinary computer (RandomX), with a fair launch — no premine, no coins reserved for the creators, and public issuance verifiable from the very first block.

With the launch almost here, this is a short look back at the road that got us to this point. You can read more about the project on the About page.

Software anyone can use

We built a desktop app that brings wallet, node and miner together in one program, and translated it into several languages so more people could use it comfortably. We also opened the core code on GitHub, so anyone can review and audit it — nothing hidden.

A network that can be verified

We put a block explorer in place so anyone can watch the chain, and published the website in five languages, along with a roadmap and an About section that tell where the project stands, with no inflated promises.

What comes next

Everything led up to this: on August 1, the network goes live and mining begins from block 1. From there, the roadmap continues — and it's built openly, with the community.
